By using multidisciplinary approach that is based on Indonesia-Dutch research collaboration, Prof. Kei and team will explore how and in what ways that the relocation of Indonesia’s new capital to Kalimantan might lead to inclusive and sustainable urbanization.
Kei Otsuki is Professor of International Development Studies at Utrecht University. Her research interests center on social equity and justice for sustainable development. Kei holds a PhD in Development Sociology from Wageningen University and MSc and BA degrees from the University of Tokyo, Japan. Prior to Utrecht University, she worked at United Nations University as a Research Associate in the field of international cooperation and sustainable development. (Source: Utrecht University)
